Supporting the Local Community with Local Business: February and March Food Donations from Sexy Sammies

Commitment to our neighborhood and local community is part of why Sexy Sammies started Local Love. But it’s bigger than that. Love is not something you just share on certain days. It’s something we aim to practice in our daily lives.

We hope that by sharing these Sexy Sammies stories, we can inspire love in both our community and our people.

We capped off February by sharing with people committed to assisting people with their taxes during tax season -

Then in March, we donated to our largest team yet -

  • Catholic Charities, one of the latest organizations chosen by Sexy Sammies, received lunches for over 50 volunteers on Thursday, March 17, and was elated to be chosen for this program.\

"At Catholic Charities Guadalupe Center and Shelter, we are privileged to help people in the community who struggle daily with meeting basic needs as well as help those who experience a short-term crisis,” says Carolyn Rainbolt, the Homeless Prevention & Emergency Assistance Program Manager.

“Our staff is so grateful to have Sexy Sammies provide a delicious lunch that lifts our spirits and lets us share a rare moment to have a meal together. What a treat! Thank you very much for your generosity!” she exclaims.

Guadalupe Community Center is an arm of Catholic Charities that helps men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in Weld County. They provide people with transitional housing, help them meet daily basic needs, provide individual case management and referrals, and help them get medical screenings.

When you combine local business and giving back to the community, there is nothing that people cannot do or achieve. We believe in being more than just a business, and nothing means more to us than our local community.
